The song, produced by HitPlay, is Ray's first single since his announcement in the Washington Blade, that he is gay. Ray Boltz is a brilliant writer & has sold over 4.5 Million records since the 80's.

He has recently performed the song with Great response at several recent Prop 8 & 2 rally's. Hey All! We are going to start a "Weekly Song Feature" on our page. We have SO much music sitting around of ALL different styles, so there's sure to be something for Everyone! The songs may be unreleased or released, but we'll try and keep it interesting for you.

The first song we are going to feature is HOT in the clubs right now, "Where the Music Takes You". The maxi-single (with 8 Remixes) is currently No.12 on Billboards HOT DANCE CLUB PLAY chart. Last weekend we remixed the song in hopes that it will help the song bump into the charts top 10! It's called "Where the Music Takes You [HITPLAY HYPNOTIC MIX]. We were unable to remix the song before the maxi-single was released, so you'll find it Exclusively HERE!

We are VERY excited about this song and we have GREAT hopes for its success.  So, we'll have to see "Where The Music Takes" the song, & hopefully it's Right to the Top of the CHARTS! We LOVE to hear feedback to please feel free to comment!

Ari Gold's song, "Love Wasn't Built in a Day", featuring Dave Koz, wins the 7th Annual Independent Music Awards for the catagory Best R&B Song. The song was produced by HitPlay & Ari & written by JOJOHO & Ari Gold. This was a great follow up win for the boys after winning the Grand Prize, with their song "Where the Music Takes You", for the USA Songwriting Competition.

In 2005, Sean & Joe produced 2 Christmas songs on former NFL player, Esera Tuaolo. Esera's team, the Atlanta Falcons, won the NFC Championship  game in 1998. Joe's arrangement for "Silent Night" has a Hawaiian Christmas feel with Tuaolo singing Samoan in the 2nd verse. SE7EN LIVE VIDEOS/ RELEASES BY KELLY KING & NEMESIS/ HITPLAY PRODUCTIONS! - June 14, 2007

Kelly King & Nemesis are both releasing their debut albums this summer. Kelly’s album, Live The Dream, is set to release in July and Nemesis’ album, Rise Up, will first digitally release at the end of June.

Some changes are going on with Joe & Sean as well. The two have formed their new production company, HitPlay Productions LLC. You will soon start to see those visual changes on the website, but all operations will remain the same, making great music! Also, Kelly King & Nemesis are the first projects for which they will use their new production team name, “HitPlay”. Joe & Sean wanted a simple name that sums up their attitude towards creating music. “HitPlay, the Music Speaks for Itself!”

In SE7EN news, here are a couple live videos of him performing “All Night”, written & produced by Joe & Sean. One is at the 2006 World Cup and the other is at the 2006 Seoul Drama Awards. The album, 24/7, which was released in April 2006, has reportedly sold over 100,000 copies by the end of 2006.

MELINDA DOOLITTLE continues to be a force to be reckoned with on American Idol. We were able to steal her away from the hectic schedule of AI and catch up over dinner, after the Country show. We were able to attend the taping, and in case you are wondering, she is just as fantastic live as on the show. Keep Voting!

NEMESIS "MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL" VIDEO - February 27, 2007


A few years ago, Joe was asked by Norro Wilson, the writer of "Most Beautiful Girl", to make a pop version of the old classic. The original version was a No. 1 hit for Charlie Rich. As Joe studied the song, he realized that the lyrics were very sad. The original version had a very happy vibe to the production, so Joe wanted to capitalize on the disparity of the song in the new production. As a result, the twin brothers, known as NEMESIS, wanted Joe to produce the track for them, and you can see and hear the end result on MTV.COM.

NEMESIS current single, "Number One in Heaven" is currently #2 on the UK's Commercial Pop Club Chart. Their debut album is set for release this Spring, which will include the song "Crash", written & produced by Sean & Joe.

We are happy to see our friend, Melinda Doolittle, successfully competing on American Idol. Melinda and Sean met while studying Music at Belmont University, where they performed in several singing groups together. Since then, Melinda has been apart of many of Joe Hogue Productions recording projects.
